I did not like the lock I had on my front door so I decided to install a new one. I got my new tool bag and started my project. I did the entire thing by myself except for a few areas that extra strength was required and then Dave was my assistant. It was fun and I got the mega locks on my front door now!

When I say "it's haircut and bath day" I literally mean DAY! Also when I say this I have 4 little kids that are really excited by those words until its their turn. With dogs for kids you could say "Who wants to go to the pound" in a happy voice and tails would be wagging. Of course I would never say that though. It usually takes me a good 8 hours to give all my dogs haircuts and baths and by the time that they are all clean I am filthy dirty! We have to rotate haircut turns so everyone can have a break except me :-) This particular day we cut off winter coats and it took FOREVER! Once everyone is done though everyone including me is happy.

My hubby Dave celebrated his 42nd birthday on February 1st! I planned a murder mystery dinner the week before. We had a really great time. Everyone that came I had made up a character for and assigned each character a color that they had to wear, like in the game Clue. I was the hostess "Madame Mystery" and Dave was Colonel Custard. My whole family came to "Boddy Mansion", we had 13 characters total. I had to tweek it a bit to play with 13 people. I got all the weapons and included a few of my own like a shoe, scissors and an ax. I set up a sit down dinner and served all my guests. We then played a game of Clue as the characters. It was so much fun! As the hostess I had so much to do that I did not even have time to take one single picture :-( Dave had a fun birthday though...he went skiing and then we went and got some dinner and came home and relaxed. He is the handsomest, sweetest, smoothest 42 year old I ever met ;-) I love you babe! Happy Birthday!

Our little guy Dayton turned 6 on January 27th and he wanted to have his birthday bash at Chuck E Cheese's. He had a whole bunch of party guests and got lots of fun stuff for his birthday! We all ate pizza and played games and then ate up his 2 birthday cakes. Dayton is such a good boy and we love him very much and are so happy he is apart of our family!
